随着我国核能技术的发展,核能科技英语翻译已有几十年。在翻译目的论的指导下,忠实性原则和连贯性原则在核能科技翻译实践中已能很好应用。而翻译技巧是翻译过程中一些规律性的经验总结,熟悉并灵活运用翻译技巧,可提高翻译质量和速度。本文在理论和实践的基础上,提出了一些实用性的核能科技翻译技巧,如对于词汇应活译短语动词,巧译新颖词语,熟悉翻译套路,跳出原文框框,进行逻辑思维等。本文作者认为,要提高翻译质量须建立个人的核能翻译数据库。
With the development of nuclear energy technology in our country, English translation of nuclear science and technology has been for decades. Under the guidance of translational teleology, the principle of loyalty and coherence have been well applied in the practice of nuclear science and technology translation. The translation skills are some regular experience in the translation process, familiar with and flexible use of translation skills, can improve the quality and speed of translation. Based on the theory and practice, this paper puts forward some practical techniques of nuclear science and technology translation, such as translating verb phrases into words, cleverly translating new words, familiarizing with translation routines, jumping out of the original text box, and making logical thinking. The author believes that to improve the quality of translation, a personal nuclear energy translation database must be established.
