Foreword Kobe Steel Co., Ltd. Kakogawa plant blast furnace often have to stop furnace overhaul due to erosion of furnace refractory. Therefore, it is necessary to extend the life of the blast furnace to reduce the erosion of the hearth liner. This article first introduces some of the findings of furnace hearth refractory erosion and then introduces some practices for producing blast furnaces to deepen the iron mouth.
