近年来,紫松果菊已成为宿根类花卉的新宠。其中新推出的“盛会”、“盛情”系列还获得全美花卉选育与欧洲花卉选拔赛双料金奖。目前在北京、大连、西安、郑州等地园林景观中已大量应用,其花期长、颜色艳、耐寒性佳,使其成为园林景观宿根花卉的首选。紫松果菊在2012年西安世界园艺博览会、2013年锦州世界园林博览会大量应用,且表现极佳。
