隔河岩水电站是以电网调峰调频为主,兼有防洪、航运等综合效益的大型水利水电工程,装机120万kW。年发电量30.4亿kW·h,设计工期八年零一个季度,1993年开始发电,1996年完建。长期以来,水利水电施工企业具有双重职能,既是建设单位,又是施工单位,这种自营方式弊病甚多,造成工程投资一增再增,工期一拖再拖。

The annual generating capacity of 3.04 billion kW · h, the design period of eight years and a quarter, began generating electricity in 1993, completed in 1996.
