渐开线齿形是保证齿轮运转平稳的重要因素之一。渐开线齿形的测量,用专用仪器或在万能工具显微镜上都能进行。但对于无专用仪器和超出仪器测量范围的大模数齿轮是无法测量的。所以探讨用万能方法进行测量,是很必要的。经多年实践证明,不但能测量,而且能解决在专用仪器上测量不了的大模数齿轮,并能用这种方法测量齿形标准件。此方法测量所用工具有:平台、块规、指示表及一些辅助工具,所以也称为平台测量齿形法。测量渐开线偏差就是测定渐开线齿面上
