一、普及新法接生是当前妇幼工作的一项中心任务

新法接生工作,六年来在党和政府的正确领导下,由於全国医药卫生人员的努力工作和全国人民的支持,已获得了巨大的成绩,许多城市和广矿新法接生,已从49年的33.3——58.2%提高到了90%或以上;在农村中,过去的空白点状态也有了改变,新法接生已有显著的增加,有的乡镇已达到90%,而按几个省的估计乡村的新法接生亦已达到30%左右。由於新法接生的推行,已使过去严重地危害产妇和新生扯生命安全的产妇产褥热和新生儿破伤风 Under the correct leadership of the party and the government over the past six years, great achievements have been made thanks to the hard work of the medical and health personnel of the whole country and the support of the people throughout the country.
