随着社会的发展和进步,城市高层建筑的供水问题日益突出。供水方式的优劣直接影响了人们的生活,目前我国许多城市和生活小区的供水系统仍然采用高位水塔或直接水泵加压供水方式。电力电子技术的发展,变频技术也逐渐应用到供水系统中。尤其采用PLC和变频器无塔供水系统,其优势更加明显,可以保持现场水压的基本恒定,实现对供水压力的自动控制。既降低水费成本,又减小水压的波动,产生了良好的经济效益和社会效益。
