同志们:周谷老的讲话很好.承蒙他对我的鼓励,我要特别感谢他.这次中国史学会的年会,同志们都希望耀邦同志、乔木同志来和大家见见面,讲讲话.他们两位委托我代表他们向同志们问好,特别是要向老一代史学工作者、专家、学者、教授表示衷心的敬意.我在历史学问题上本来没有发言的资格,曾再三推辞,还是推不掉.我的岗位是做宣传工作.与大年同志协商,准备在这个会上从宣传工作的角度,向同志们呼吁一下,请求大家从不同的方面,采取不同的方法,向我们的人民进行爱国
