苍术是药菊科植物南苍术或北苍术等的根茎,始载于《神农本草经》:“作煎饵。久服,轻身、延年、不饥。”被列为上品,不分苍术和白术,而统称为“术”。《本草纲目》载苍术“治湿痰留饮,或挟瘀血成窠囊,及脾湿下流,浊沥带下,滑泻肠风”。认为苍术可燥湿健脾,祛风散寒,明目。用于脘腹胀满、泄泻水肿、脚气痿躄、风湿痹痛、风寒感冒、夜盲。苍术治疗风湿病
