我国目前最大的矿石中转码头——北仑港,从去年下半年开始进入了全面负荷试运转阶段。 这里原是我省金塘海面的一个小岛,从来默默无闻,1978年开始建设北仑港,它的名字迅即传遍了国内外。 1981年仲秋,第一艘十万吨级的货轮进港卸货成功,标志着宁波港口发展史上的新的一页。 这里有横卧于碧波之上的1009米长的引桥,它由一个10万吨级和两个25000吨级的泊位组成,与引桥成F”型平面。 在十万吨级泊位码头上,两台卸船机机身高达55米,它的抓斗一下就可抓举30吨矿石,十万吨矿石24小时就可抓完。
