Since the October Revolution, the Soviet Union has undergone fundamental changes in its agricultural development: from the backward-scale individual agriculture to the massive collective agriculture. Because of this change, the Soviet peasants have been freed from the painful and exploitative life of poverty. Here is a report recently made by the Joint Administrator, La Ga Diaia, on a recent visit to the Soviet collective farms.
