20世纪60年代末高吸水性树脂发展起来。它是从1961年美国农业部北方研究所首次将淀粉接枝于丙烯腈开始发展的,碱水解的淀粉接枝共聚物具备超吸水功能,真正高吸水性树脂是源于Gugliemelli等人成功地解决了淀粉接枝丙烯腈共聚物的碱水解问题,高吸水树脂材料诞生了。但随着高吸水性树脂技术的发展与应用,人们又发现了很多吸水机理,在此基础之上大量地提高了吸水树脂的吸水能力,从而使其应用更加之广泛。
The superabsorbent resins developed in the late 1960s. It started with the grafting of starch to acrylonitrile for the first time by the USDA Northern Institute in 1961. Alkali-hydrolyzed starch graft copolymers are super-absorbent and the true superabsorbent resin was successfully derived from Gugliemelli et al. The alkali-grafted starch acrylonitrile copolymer hydrolysis, high water-absorbent resin material was born. However, with the development and application of superabsorbent resin technology, many people have discovered a lot of water absorption mechanisms, on the basis of which, the water absorption capacity of the water absorbent resin has been greatly improved, making it more widely used.
