The “Wenchuan Earthquake Engineering Geology and Geological Hazards” awaited by Professor Yin Yueping and Zhang Yongshu was published and distributed by Science Press on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of Wenchuan MS8.0 Earthquake on May 12. This book systematically studies the seismic engineering geology and geological disasters in MS8.0 Wenchuan earthquake area, involving the key scientific issues of geological structure, seismic engineering geology, monitoring and test methods of slope ground motion and seismic geology disaster in Wenchuan earthquake area. The book a total of four chapter 18. The first chapter introduces the Longmen Shan activity tectonic belt site survey, deep magnetotelluric sounding, GPS long-term observation before and after the earthquake and tectonic stress field evolution research results. The second section introduces the distribution of coseismic surface rupture caused by the Wenchuan earthquake, the geological characteristics of earthquake engineering and the earthquake fracture control effect of the earthquake landslide
