At all times and in all countries, it is not uncommon for literary works to be themed or clues of repetition. There is a monolithic framework that works in a repetitive manner, such as “One Hundred Years of Solitude,” etc. There are also works that use repetitive repetition as an implication of the development of the essay. The theme of the cycle with more tragedy, because the cycle is not repeated, but in a fixed circle infinitely repeated order, which often gives the negative emotional numbness. The meaninglessness conveyed by the cycle tends to sink people into nothingness. This article will be based on Irish playwright Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting for Godot” and French prose writer Albert Camus’s essay collection “The myth of Sisyphus” as the text carrier to discuss the theme of circulation in these two works In the different manifestations, and a brief discussion of the cycle of this literary topic.
