本文阐述巴特勒矩阵(B矩阵)的一般系统设计公式。当波束(阵列元素)数M=2~N和混合耦合器的散射矩阵确定后,所讨论的B矩阵设计问题用于决定矩阵中的相移位置和数值。所提供的设计公式是基于如下事实,即B矩阵的设计过程和快速付立叶变换(FFT)算法在基本概念上等价。这就说明B矩阵的设计过程可以通过FFT算法的改进系统地公式化,并保持原信号流程图的拓扑学特性。由此得出简单的设计公式。
This article describes the general system design of Butler matrix (B matrix). When the number of beam (array element) M = 2 ~ N and the scattering matrix of the hybrid coupler are determined, the B-matrix design problem discussed is used to determine the phase-shift locations and values in the matrix. The design formulas provided are based on the fact that the B matrix design process and the fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm are basically conceptually equivalent. This shows that the B matrix design process can be systematically formulated by the improvement of the FFT algorithm, and maintain the topology of the original signal flow chart. This leads to a simple design formula.
