1993～1995年采用石蜡切片法对8～9年生山楂（品种为秋金星）的花芽形态分化进行了观察研究。结果是：形态分化开始期在7月上旬，多以萼片分化期越冬，翌年3月初至5月中旬，（花序分离期）快速进行单花的花瓣、雄蕊、雌蕊分化，5月上中旬直至开花前形成胚珠、花药，继而形成性细胞。
From 1993 to 1995, paraffin sections were used to observe the flower bud morphogenesis of 8 ~ 9-year-old hawthorn (variety Qiu Jin Xing). As a result, the morphological differentiation began in early July and mostly crossed seasons during the sepal differentiation. The early petal, stamens and pistils of single flower were rapidly differentiated in early March to mid-May of the next year (inflorescence separation period) Before the formation of ovules, anthers, and then the formation of sex cells.
