明代四夷馆是中国历史上首个具有教习夷语、辨译朝贡表文及伴送朝贡使臣回国等多项职能的涉外机构。学界已经对该机构的性质、位置、隶属及职能略有探讨,本文在此基础上,对上述的内容进一步考证,并通过探讨四夷馆的组成人员及选用方式、职能及管理制度、组成人员的经济待遇及该馆的财务状况等问题,以求窥见明代四夷馆的生存及运行状况。
The Ming Dynasty Siyi Hall is the first foreign institution in China’s history that has the functions of teaching the teacher to read the Yi language, distilling the tribute texts and accompanying the tribute tributemen returning to China. The academic community has made a slight discussion on the nature, position, affiliation and functions of this institution. On the basis of this, this article further studies the above contents. By discussing the composition, selection methods, functions and management system of Siyi Hall, Economic treatment and the financial status of the museum and other issues in order to glimpse the survival and operation of the Ming Dynasty Siyi Museum.
