On August 26, 2014, the Agriculture Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held the second round of symposium on the compilation of “Xinjiang Annals, Records of Agriculture”. In the second round, Deputy Chief Editor of “Xinjiang Annals and Agriculture”, deputy director of Codification Committee Office and Director of Agricultural Planning Research Institute Ma Xuan and Office were all copywriters of the organization units and all staff of the office of Codification Committee attended the symposium. The symposium informed the progress made in the second round of the compilation of “Xinjiang Annals, A Record of Agriculture,” and three contributors focused on giving speeches to introduce good practices in data collection and data card making.
