本文论述了加拿大人的民族意识对加拿大英语词典编纂的影响,概述了加拿大英语词典编纂的历史,它可分为四个重要阶段,在这四个时期,分别出版了反映加拿大英语特点的各种词典,包括普通加拿大英语词典和加拿大英语学习词典等,介绍了这些词典各自的特色和不足之处。最后,从四个方面论述了加拿大英语词典的编纂对加拿大文化的影响。
This paper discusses the influence of Canadian national consciousness on the compilation of Canadian English lexicons and summarizes the history of Canadian English lexicon compilation. It can be divided into four important stages. In these four periods, various kinds of features reflecting Canadian English are published Thesaurus, including the General Canadian English Dictionary and the Canadian English Learning Dictionary, introduced their respective features and shortcomings. Finally, the author discusses the influence of the compilation of Canadian English dictionary on Canadian culture from four aspects.
