外来词也被称作借词,汉英两种语言中都有许多外来词。对外来词及其翻译方法的研究表明,在词语借用中的效率原则指导下,意译词趋于简化,音译词数量激增,移译方法盛行。
Loanwords are also called loanwords, and there are many loanwords in both Chinese and English languages. The research on loanwords and their translation methods shows that the translated words tends to be simplified under the guidance of the principle of efficiency in word borrowing. The number of transliterated words surges and translation methods prevail.
