现生产的供制动用空气压缩机(简称气泵)已由原来的侧进气结构(CA10R型)改成顶置进气结构(CA15型)。这使气泵的整体结构较为先进,并改善了充气系统,但CA15型气泵缸盖总成在结构设计上及零部件加工工艺性方面都存在一定缺点。从结构上分析,其结构较复杂、零部件多、装配难度大、工作时噪声较大;从加工工艺性方面分析,零部件加工工艺较复杂、废品率高。由于零部件多、加工量大,因此在大批量生产中浪费了大量的原材料、工时和能量,并给工厂组织生产带来相当大的困难。
