Phase Characteristics of Coherent States and Weakly Squeezed Vacuum States Using Pegg ’s Defined Phase. The phase evolution of the optical amplifier (or attenuator) is analyzed using the phase state, and the spread of the distribution of the phase probability is compared with the traditional Fokker-Planck result.
