Indigenous people are an integral part of the main body in traditional village conservation and development process, and are also the most direct and the most dynamic carrier of traditional village conservation and inheritance. Taking the case of Yifu village in Jishui county in the process of traditional vil age conservation and development, this paper built the main body of indigenous people and put forward countermeasures of protecting and developing the main body based on analyzing the aboriginal way of life, planning demand and stakeholder of indigenous people.
