以2011年前在深圳证券交易所创业板上市的153家中小企业为样本,探索了Porter在《竞争战略》中提出的“夹在中间”假说——追求低成本和差异化竞争优势易使企业处于“夹在中间”的窘境、只能获得低于平均水平的利润——对中国中小企业的适用性。结果显示:实施成本领先战略或差异化战略的中小企业的绩效确实优于“夹在中间”的中小企业,而中小企业的成长性与企业选择的一般战略没有直接关系。在此基础上,提出了中小企业选择一般竞争战略的建议。
Taking the 153 small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the GEM of Shenzhen Stock Exchange before 2011 as a sample, we explore the “sandwiching” hypothesis Porter put forward in “Competitive Strategy” - the pursuit of low-cost and differentiated competitive advantages So that enterprises in the “sandwiched between” the dilemma, only to obtain less than the average profit - the applicability of SMEs in China. The result shows that the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises implementing cost leadership strategy or differentiation strategy is superior to that of medium-sized and small enterprises with “sandwiching”, and the growth of SMEs is not directly related to the general strategy of enterprise selection. On this basis, it puts forward the suggestion that SMEs choose general competition strategy.
