江苏省金属学会原副理事长兼秘书长、教授级高级工程师、《江苏冶金》杂志主编潘谷邨同志因病医治无效。于1992年3月2日在南京不幸逝世,终年63岁。潘谷邨同志1929年7月出生于上海市南汇县。1950年2月在焦作工学院加入新民主主义青年团,并担任学习、宣传委员和学生会宣传部长;1952年9月毕业于东北工学院轧钢专业,作为新中国培养的大学生,立志把自己的毕生精力投入祖国冶金事业中去。毕业分配
