一个秋日的下午,驻守在新疆昌吉三屯庙的新疆边防总队司令部直属大队机动队硬功比赛正在进行。“喉顶长矛”、“背断木棍”、“手开啤酒瓶”……精彩的表演博得观众阵阵叫好声。这时,一个身板结实、面容清俊的士官上场了,他稳步走到一块5厘米厚的木板前,手拿两枚1寸长钉。只见他左手扶钉,右手扬起,一掌下去,第一枚长钉深深扎入木板中。大家还没来得及叫好,他又是一掌,第二枚长钉也全部钉进木板中。全场欢声雷动,对这位身怀绝技的边防战士报以最热烈的掌声。
