君子兰多于春节前后开花,夏天休眠。但山东潍坊一户人家养的君子兰却偏偏在夏季小暑前后开了花,实属罕见。盛夏开花的是山东潍坊益都中心医院退休药师陈鹏增先生莳养的2盆君子兰。这两盆君子兰均在2011年7月上旬开了花(上图)。大的一盆已经养7年。这是第三次开花,前两次开花都在春节后,这次却开在了夏天。开花28朵,比前两次开花多。小的一盆才养了4年,首次开花也开在了夏天,开花20朵。
