在毛主席“备战、备荒、为人民”的伟大战略方针指引下,在无产阶级文化大革命的推动下,我省广大工农兵再一次掀起了发掘和利用野生油脂植物的新高潮,发现了几种含油量较高的油脂植物,翅果油树就是其中的一个。目前,翅果油树产区的群众已大量采集并食用,有的地区也开始试种,对于天然生长的植株加强了人工管理。为了进一步了解翅果油树的生物学特性、栽培和利用等,我们组织了油脂植物调查研究组,于1974年5月至8月间到临汾地区的翼城、乡宁、蒲县、临汾等县和运城地区的河津、稷山、夏县、闻喜等县作了调查。现将调查所得总结汇报如下。一、形态学特征该树暂命名为翅果油树(Elaeagnus mollisDiels),属胡颓子科胡颓子属植物。当地群众根据其用途和果实的特征,叫做“泽绿柴”、“贼楼柴”或“仄棱蛋”(翼城)、“柴禾”、“泽胡”、“层壶子”,又因其在早春开花,
