多年来煤炭工业面临着工作面通风、着火、粉尘及其对生产的影响等问题.为改进工作面通风,尽量减少工作面着火,控制工作面粉尘,各煤炭公司、国家研究机构及其有关部门在过去30多年里进行了研究.研究项目包括风障、喷咀、水压、高效滤水系统、辅助扇风机、扩散式辅助扇风机、各种集尘装置及最近研究的“喷雾风扇”通风装置.此装置由安装在连续采煤机关键位置的数个喷雾器组构成,用来为工作面附近地区通风.
