感应同步器是一种检测机械转角或位移的精密专感器。由于它具有测量准确度高、结构简单、性能稳定、使用寿命长、环境适应性强、不怕污染等一系列优点,目前广泛地应用于测量技术、自动控制、军事装备、机械制造等部门,如座标测量机、带电子伺服转动的分度头、精密经纬仪、座标镗床等。据有关资料统计,在国外用感应同步器作为数显型测量机的测量元件的厂家,占三座标测量机生产厂家的三分之一。感应同步器用于三座标测量机,能实现被测点的三个座标值数值显示,同时所测的数据自动打印记录,大大地提高了测量效率。
