皖南变质岩分布区是古陆还是一个造山带？这一直是国内外地质学家讨论华南大地构造的焦点问题。在综合分析前人的研究现状及存在的问题后，提出以造山带的观点解体本区地层是未来发展的主要趋势；并以新发现的大量古生物化石为依据，讨论了目前对这个造山带研究取得的进展及需要进一步研究的问题。同时也为解决整个华南的大地构造问题提供了新的资料。
Wannan metamorphic rock distribution area is ancient or a orogenic belt? This has always been the focus of discussion by geologists both at home and abroad about the tectonics of South China. After comprehensively analyzing the research status quo of predecessors and existing problems, this paper proposes to disassemble the strata in this area from the viewpoint of orogenic belt. The main trend of future development is to discuss the current research on this orogenic belt based on a large number of newly discovered paleontological fossils Progress made and issues that require further study. At the same time, it also provides new information for solving the problem of the tectonics in the entire South China.
