[Objective] To observe whether supplementing micronutrients can improve cellular immune function in type 2 diabetic patients. [Methods] According to the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 196 patients with type 2 diabetes were given micronutrient and placebo respectively for 6 months. Anthropometric, blood biochemical, and cellular immunological tests were performed prior to and six months into the study. One month prior to the study and a monthly follow-up during the study period. Fill in the diet and exercise schedules every two weeks and register the infection. [Results] After the completion of the study, 14 people dropped out of the study, with a 7.1% drop rate and 182 valid data. Before the start of the study, there was no significant difference between the two groups and the indexes. After the study, the changes of CD4 +, CD8 +, CD4 + / CD8 + ratio and lymphocyte count in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group. [Conclusions] Moderate supplement of micronutrient can improve cellular immune function in type 2 diabetic patients.
