AIM:To report the experience in successfully treatingpregnant women with severe hepatitis.METHODS:Comprehensive medical treatments wereperformed under strict monitoring.RESULTS:Pregnant woman with severe hepatitis wassuccessfully rescued.CONCLUSION:Vital measures taken in the treatment ofpregnant women with severe hepatitis include terminationof the pregnancy at a proper time and control of variouscomplications,such as disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC),hepatorenal syndrome,hepatic encephalopathy andinfection.
