氯乙烯是无色易液化的气体,与空气形成可爆炸性混合物,难溶于水,溶于乙醇、乙醚、丙酮和二氯乙烷,易聚合。氯乙烯是应用最广泛的树脂聚氯乙烯(PVC)的单体,用于制备聚氯乙烯、偏二氯乙烯、也用于作冷冻剂等。
Vinyl chloride is a colorless, liquefiable gas that forms an explosive mixture with air, is poorly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ethyl ether, acetone and dichloroethane and is easily polymerized. Vinyl chloride is the most widely used resin of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) monomer, used in the preparation of polyvinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, also used as a refrigerant and so on.
