At the dawn of the 21st century, the heat of the Silk Road keeps heating up. People’s enthusiasm for the Silk Road is also on the rise. Especially after the trumpet surrounding the grand western development in Central China has been sounded. The sea channel is a traffic artifice between ancient Dunhuang and Turpan. Because of its dangerousness, mystery and vicissitudes, as well as its important role in the history of the exchange of human civilization, the sea channel has always been of concern to archaeologists and explorers both at home and abroad. The investigation of the sea course and the exploration of its route are unfinished aspirations of the academic community for many years.
