现代高校体育教学对体育教师综合素质提出了新的、更高和更全面的要求。作为体育教学中主体的教师,如何才能完成社会给予的高校体育教育工作任务。就要求体育教师具备高尚的品格修养、广博精深的体育专业知识、过硬教学能力与科研能力。因此,体育教师要不断提高自身综合素质,努力适应现代体育教学改革与发展的需要,它是高校未来体育工作的基础和关键。
