利用地球化学块体理论进行矿产资源评价的资源量预测工作中,大多是基于地球化学数据本身,虽考虑了除成矿物源之外的如地层、构造等地质背景因素的影响,但仅限于定性阶段,多用于地球化学块体含矿性的分析及远景区的分级.在充分研究地质背景因素的基础上,认为如地层、构造等富集因素与成矿物质基础是矿床形成的2个必要条件,因此,在资源量计算的工作中,还应考虑富集因素的影响,据此建立了找矿概率-地球化学块体法,并将其应用于辽东硼资源量的定量评价中.结果表明,辽东地区硼矿资源潜力较大并符合客观实际.
