热心公益的硖石首富徐申如(1872～1944年),名光溥,浙江海宁硖石镇人,现代著名诗人徐志摩的父亲。他交游甚广,深受其“实业救国”思想的影响。徐家世代经商,徐申如除独资经营祖传徐裕丰酱园外,还广泛投资于钱庄、商业和实业,家资日丰,成为远近闻名的硖石首富。光绪二十三年(1897年),徐申如与他人合资创办裕通钱庄。1913年2月,他联合沈叔英等人,创办硖石电灯股份有限公司,为浙江省最早兴建的火力发电厂之一。过了四
