Awareness Raising After I transferred to Fengtai District Bureau of Statistics in 1994, I participated in the working conference on the press release of statistical newsletters held annually by the editorial department of Beijing Statistics. By listening to the important reports delivered by the China Information Bureau of the National Bureau of Statistics of China and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics about the situation of the nationwide statistical press releases and the guidelines for the publication of newspapers and periodicals, I gained a new understanding of the role of the statistics newspapers and periodicals in propaganda.
