现代人对自身存在的意义越来越迷茫,现代文明社会中所出现的种种荒诞和怪异现象也正越来越引起对生命存在及其意义进行深思的当代剧作家的关注。自杀愈来愈成为现实社会中不容忽视的一个现象,而女性自杀更已成为严重的社会问题。社会学家指出,妇女的自杀率大大高于男性。但话剧《晚安,妈妈》与一般自杀主题作品不同,文章试图分析杰茜自杀的新的现实意义以及新时期女性主义对父权社会的反抗模式。而“上帝”死后,女性以其冷峻客观的自杀来对抗父权体制束缚的形式,从而引起社会对女性弱者的关注达到女性主义的最终解放。
The modern people are more and more confused about their own existence. All kinds of absurdities and weird phenomena in the modern civilized society are also increasingly arousing the concern of contemporary dramatists who contemplate the existence and significance of life. Suicide has increasingly become a phenomenon that can not be ignored in the real world, and female suicide has become a serious social problem. Sociologists point out that the suicide rate of women is much higher than that of men. However, the drama “Good night, Mom” is different from the general theme of suicide. The article tries to analyze the new realistic significance of Jessie’s suicide and the feminist mode of resistance against patriarchy in the new era. After the death of “God ”, women confronted the patriarchal system with their solemn and objective suicide, which caused the social attention to the weak of the feminine to reach the ultimate liberation of feminism.
