多义词也称为一词多义,意思是指一个词有两个或者两个以上的义项,在学习英语词汇的过程当中,这是一个非常关键的难点和重点。在英语词汇中有着大量的多义词,能否把这些多义词高效省时的进行记忆,是把英语学好的一个关键。但是根据资料分析,在我国高校的英语教学中,多义词教学方面还存在着一些不足,英语教师在组织教学的过程当中,一般是把多义词的每个义项采用例句的形式一次性教授给学生,而学生只能通过死记硬背的方法进行记忆,结果造成学习的效率比较低。本文主要是对基于范畴理论的英语多义词进行分析研究,提出一些自己的观点,以方便广大业界同仁进行参考。
Polysemy, also known as polysemy, means that a word has two or more senses. This is a crucial crux and emphasis in learning English vocabulary. There are many polysemous words in the English vocabulary. Whether these polysemous words can be efficiently and time-savingly memorized is one of the keys to learn English well. However, according to the analysis of the data, there are still some shortcomings in the teaching of polysemous words in college English teaching in our country. In the process of organizing teaching, English teachers typically give each meaning of polysemous word to students in the form of example sentences Students can only remember by rote memorization, resulting in learning efficiency is relatively low. This paper mainly analyzes and studies English polysemous words based on category theory and puts forward some own views to facilitate the reference of the majority of industry colleagues.
