The Kro Gallery is part of the expansion plan for the famous Ted Museum of Art in London. It is linked to a wing of the original gallery, but is functionally independent. It has its own entrance and has a lecture hall, library and reading room. The challenge for architects is not the restrictions of the base or the architectural style, but it will collect and exhibit the works of famous British painter JW Tanner from the 19th century, including oil paintings, watercolors and sketches. The L-shaped plane of the Kro Gallery, together with the corner of the Tate Art Museum, forms a rectangular square. There is a pool on the square, facing the pool, on the long axis of the rectangular square is the gallery’s door. The foyer is very bright, with a straight, upstairs, wide, skylight-lit staircase. The walls of the foyer repeat the squares on the walls
