第二课堂,即一般所说的课外活动,包括课外阅读、智力竞赛、专题讲座、参观访问以及各种文体、科技、游戏等活动。既包括校内的,也包括校外的。之所以称为第二课堂,是因为它处于与课堂教学相并列的地位,不象过去所说的课外活动仅仅处于课堂教学的补充与延伸的从属地位。为了适应新的技术革命高度发展的需要,除了按照“三个面向”改革第一课堂外,还必须积极地开辟第二课堂。第二课堂能够多渠道地使学生接受社会各种新信息,使他们开阔视野,活跃思想,培养学生的学习兴趣,巩固加深所学的知识,发展智力,有利于学生的德智体全面发展。但目前开辟历史教学的第二课堂,似乎没有象语文、数、理、化等学科那样引起教师足够的重视,认为历史死记硬
The second class, commonly known as extra-curricular activities, includes extra-curricular reading, quizzes, special lectures, visits, and a variety of styles, technologies, and games. Unlike what was said in the past, extracurricular activities are only subordinate to the supplement and extension of classroom teaching. The second classroom can allow students to accept various new information in the society through multiple channels, so that they can broaden their horizons, invigorate their ideas, cultivate their interest in learning, consolidate and deepen their knowledge, and develop their intelligence. This is conducive to the overall development of the students’ intelligence, intelligence and body. However, at present, the second classroom that opens up history teaching does not seem to cause teachers enough attention like the disciplines of language, mathematics, science, and chemistry, and believes that history is hard to remember.
