绿豆核酸酶(Mung Bean Nuclease)可以在基因的前后但不在基因的编码区切断疟疾病原虫——疟原虫属的基因组DNA,这一切割几乎具有限制性内切核酸酶的精确性,要求在有甲酰胺控制的条件下进行。用Southern印迹法表明,疟原虫属的肌动蛋白、CS蛋白(circum-sporozoite protein),富组氨酸蛋自,核糖体RNA结合蛋白和微管蛋白的基因编码区都一一从基因组DNA上切下,形成琼脂糖凝胶上单一的窄带。由
Mung Bean Nuclease cleaves the genomic DNA of the malaria parasite, Plasmodium, before and after the gene but not in the coding region of the gene. This cleavage has almost the accuracy of restriction endonucleases, Formamide-controlled conditions. Southern blotting showed that the coding regions of actin, circum-sporozoite protein, histidine-rich protein, ribosomal RNA-binding protein and tubulin of Plasmodium were all sequenced from genomic DNA Cut to form a single narrow band on agarose gel. by
