Americanization is a popular word used after the Second World War to describe the spread of American cultural values and life style in the whole world.As a worldwide phenomenon,it is often mentioned together with culture.Based on several definitions and char acteristics of culture as well as the key elements of Americanization,the relationship between Americanization and culture are discussed here,thus coming to a conclusion that Americanization is a phenomenon of culture.
