水利部黄河水利委员会所属各水文站过去观测蒸发量都是用的直径80公分的蒸发皿。用这种蒸发皿得出的结果多偏大。为了搜集精确的水面蒸发资料,核算三门峡水库表面的蒸发总值,以便合理分配水量,保证发电、航运、灌溉等方面的顺利进行,并录求与直径80公分蒸发皿的关系,求出改正系数,以便合理地大量地利用过去的蒸发资料为工农业服务,黄委会特学习了苏联先进经验,在三门峡水文站建造了直径5.04公尺的Ⅱ级蒸发池。建造Ⅱ级蒸发池在我国说业还是极少的,因缺乏经验在建筑中曾走了一些弯路,也克服了不少困难,解决了一些技术问题,使建造工程如期完成,解冻后顺利地投入了生产。为利于今后建造需要的设计资料及施工经验。特将本文及设计图一并发表供作研究参考。

The construction of Grade II evaporation ponds in our country is still very few. Due to lack of experience, some detours have been taken in the construction. Many difficulties have also been overcome and some technical problems have been solved. Construction projects are completed on schedule. After thawing, they are successfully put into operation Production. In order to facilitate the construction of the future need of design information and construction experience.
