Introduction Diabetes and hypertension outpatient medical records are particularly suitable for computer storage and analysis. Some systems can not only store data, but also provide advice on diagnosis, treatment, and even prognosis. There has been a lot of proof that trying to store medical records using computers is expensive and time-consuming (a patient has to use as many as 29 pages), and it is difficult to maintain for a long time. This article describes a simple system for storing diabetes medical records. This system was used at King University Hospital since 1974. An index of treatment, complications, etc., related to diabetes is established, and the design of the study is more helpful than the study itself.
