从高职学生口语能力的现状出发,就影响高职生英语口语能力的原因进行了调查分析。调查发现目前高职学生口语水平不高,他们普遍受到以往学习经验和目前英语测试方式的影响不太重视英语口语,而传统的教学模式又让他们在口语课堂上普遍存在畏惧焦虑等心理问题。这些问题对学生英语口语的运用和口语教学产生了较大的负面影响。针对这些问题提出改进高职生英语口语能力的一些可行性办法和教学策略。
From the current situation of higher vocational students’ oral competency, this paper investigates and analyzes the causes of higher vocational students’ oral English ability. The survey found that the current oral level of students in higher vocational colleges is not high, they are generally affected by past learning experience and current test methods in English do not pay attention to spoken English, and the traditional teaching model allows them to prevail in the oral class fear and anxiety and other psychological problems. These problems have a greater negative impact on students’ use of oral English and oral teaching. In order to solve these problems, some feasible methods and teaching strategies to improve the students’ oral English ability are proposed.
