自从“汉语规范化”问题提出以后,很多报刊杂志都发表了计论文章,其中特别指出了文艺工作者应该起示范作用,应该在推广标准语的工作中担负重要的责任.我们完全拥护这种措施.并衷心地响应这一号召.可是我们觉得还有一些问题不明确.因此愿意提出来请大家研究.第一、在推行普通话的时候,各个地方戏应该怎样去进行这一工作?我们都知道,由于各地的语言不同,产生了各个地方戏的曲调的不同(当然还有其他原因,但主要是语言问题),形成了各个地方有各个地方的戏曲;如绍兴的越剧,河南的梆子,四川的川剧,湖北的楚剧,陕西的秦腔等等.我们也知道,这些地方戏都要从自己的基础上向新歌剧发展,那么将来是不是会由于语言的统一,各个地方戏都要用普通话来演唱呢?(当然一些古典节目是要作为民族遗产来保留的.)如果是这样,那么现在就应该着手.我们当然知道,这是要跟随着全国的语言的改变而逐步改变的,不能一下子扭转,太突然了群众也不会接受的.可是,我们不应该坐
