记者最近调查部分省市公安 机关开展“严打”整治专项 斗争时,留下较深印象的,一是各地在破大案、打团伙、追逃犯等方面所取得的一系列战绩,二是各地普遍反映突出的公安警力不足、装备不够、经费困难等问题。 一个地方对犯罪活动打击有力、社会治安状况好,党委政府和人民群众就感到满意;反之,党政领导和人民群众对公安部门的满意率也随着降低。肩负着打击犯罪、维护治安神圣使命的各级公安机关和广大公安干警,面临的压力难以言传。
